On Friday, September 6th 2024, Sageland Elementary had their Grandparent's Day Celebration.
Our Fitness Friday: Grandparent's Edition event was a collaboration with the P.E. Department. Students, their parents, and their grandparents had the opportunity to compete with other classes, from their same grade level, in a friendly game of volleyball. Every class and their parents wanted to win, but only one class per grade level was victorious.
Our project coordinator and Scottie volunteers also created wonderful photo backdrops for Grandparents to take pictures with their grandchildren between volleyball games. Grandparents also received a treat in celebration of their special day.
